Short and Curly are two brothers from different mother’s embarking on a mission to learn about Coffee, to share in the joy it brings and to help others find what they enjoy whilst busting some of the jargon in the process.

For 10 years we’ve travelled the world together from the Hill Stations of Nepal and India to roadside hangouts in Saigon, tasting Java in Java and marvelling at the Barista’s of Melbourne. Until one day we sat down and realised – all the places we’ve been revolve around this wonderful stuff, bringing people together like a liquid universal language. We wondered, was it possible to take all these dreamy cups of joy home and recreate them back in Lichfield?

Then, what followed can only really be described as a scene reminiscent of Pooh and Piglet as they headed home after sampling the finest beans Bali had to offer.

“Let’s buy a roaster” said Short.
“Ok” said Curly
“I can’t believe we’re gonna be roasters” said Short.
And the rest, as they say, is history…..
